In just over a week’s time we’ll be on site at the Royal Hospital Chelsea to assist with the planting of “The Beauty of Islam” show garden by Dubai based designer and fellow graduate of Inchbald, Kamelia bin Zaal.

It’s designed to be a contemporary reinterpretation of an Islamic Garden to represent the growth of the Arab Empire through the spice trade. Featured plants will include olive, orange, fig and pomegranate trees as well as other scented plants including cardamom, pepper and jasmine.

Click here to view the design on the Royal Horticultural Society website.

Garden in the frost

These photos, taken before Christmas and before the winds and rain set in, show the beauty of frost. The silver lawn and leaves enhance the evergreens and copper stems and accentuate the structure in the winter garden.
